Week 12 Position Battle #2: Cordy Glenn Versus Dwight Freeney

Glenn, Cordy 5

Mark Konezny-US PRESSWIRE

In the second of key position battles this week between the Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts and this battle could decide the outcome of the game by itself. Monster standout Bills left tackle Cordy Glenn, will be taking on rush linebacker Dwight Freeney whom has given quarterbacks nightmares for over a decade now.

Glenn as rookie has held his own against a who’s who of pass rushing guys and likely could be looking as one of the big steals of the 2012 NFL Draft class. I could say this every week but Glenn has his hands full today with one of the premier pass rushers in the league in Freeney.

Freeney has been without question a terror to offenses since 2002, as he has amassed 104.5 sacks, and 43 forced fumbles. I do think he is slowing down now that he’s in his thirties as he’s only had two sacks this year so far; however, this guy still warrants respect in a passing league.

Let’s go to the tale of the tape between Cordy Glenn and Dwight Freeney:
