The Denver Broncos‘ matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 13 should be an easy victory for the Broncos for several reasons, but the main one is that QB Peyton Manning (pictured above) took a hard fall in Week 12, but he turned out to be just fine after passing the concussion test. When Manning has a “bad” game by his standards like he did in the Broncos’ victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, he tends to rebound quickly and prove the next week that the previous game was a fluke.
That is exactly what Manning and the Broncos will do this week against the Bucs.
The Broncos will have their way with the weak Buccaneer secondary and will not have to run the ball much against their tough run defense. Manning should be able to connect with WRs Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker nearly at will. I even can see WR Brandon Stokley having a great game and catching a touchdown pass.
The Bucs will have a tough time in the air trying to get the ball to WR Vincent Jackson. The Broncos know Jackson well from his days in San Diego and will have a game plan to slow him down. RB Doug Martin should find some success, but I can see the Broncos stacking the defense against the run and making it hard for Martin to rush for over 100 yards.
The Broncos will be in control early and will win this game 34-20.
