Earlier in the week, the Arizona Cardinals placed center Lyle Sendlein on IR with an MCL tear. The Cardinals still listed 10 players on their injury report in week 13. Here is the full list:

WR Andre Roberts (did not practice)

S Justin Bethel (limited participant)

QB Kevin Kolb (limited participant)

WR Early Doucet (limited participant)

RB Beanie Wells (limited participant)

S Kerry Rhodes (full participant)

DE Calais Campbell (limited participant)

LS Mike Leach (full participant)

WR Laron Byrd (limited participant)

RB William Powell (limited participant)

The names that should stick out to fans on this list are Roberts, Wells, Campbell and Rhodes. All of these are major would-be contributors. Wells is fine, and was limited for precautionary reasons only. Roberts did not practice because of an ankle injury that could keep him out of the game on Sunday. Campbell should be able to go on Sunday and Rhodes keeps popping up on this list because of a back issue.

Kolb has the possibility of playing, but I’d like to see Ryan Lindley give it his best shot against the New York Jets. He threw four interceptions last game, but those were just rookie mistakes. If he plays mistake free this week, he should put a whooping on Mark Sanchez and the Jets.

The Cardinals are still hurting in all aspects of the game. They have lost a bunch of players to injury this season and have not recovered. They need to be careful about how they handle injuries moving forward or they will get someone seriously injured and that could make problems for next season.
