Week 13 Position Battle #1: Stephon Gilmore Versus Justin Blackmon
In the first position battle between the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars for Week 13, we have cornerback Stephon Gilmore (pictured above) and wide receiver Justin Blackmon (pictured below) going head to head. What makes this battle interesting is that they are two top-tier rookies this year.
While Gilmore has not recorded an interception yet this year, he has deflected 13 passes and has racked up 40 tackles for the Bills. He has done well and is getting better as he is learning to be the number one cornerback on the fly.
Blackmon got his career started the wrong way as he was one of the last rookies to sign his contract and got arrested for a DUI, but he seems to have settled down and has had 38 catches for 548 yards and three touchdowns.
Let’s go to the tale of the tape between Gilmore and Blackmon:

All and all, this should be an excellent one on one battle of rookies, but that’s just my take, what do you all think of it? Let me know!
