Greg Jennings Returns For Green Bay Packers
After getting hammered last week by the New York Giants, the Green Bay Packers were in need of a serious kick in the pants to get themselves back on track. Green Bay will get a player back today that may be that jolt in wide receiver Greg Jennings. Jennings hasn’t played since Week 4 and could help Green Bay in putting some more points up against the Minnesota Vikings at home.
For the fantasy players out there, Jennings should probably be on your bench for at least this week to see how much he is involved in the offense before running him back out there. There are a lot of players who drafted Jennings in the second or third round of their draft and may need one big push in the final week of the regular season but it is best to wait until next week for that.
The Green Bay offense looked bad last week in New York with Jordy Nelson still returning from his injuries and James Jones being held without a catch along with Randall Cobb not having a great game either. With Jennings back in the lineup, the Packers should be able to get back to running on all cylinders again. That fact alone should probably concern a ton of teams in the National Football League and especially in the NFC North which could turn into a runaway for Green Bay now that Jennings has returned. This is a big day for Jennings and the Packers. We will see very soon how good Jennings looks in his first game back.
