The Oakland Raiders look to break their four game losing streak with possible help from Darren McFadden this Sunday.

The Raiders face the Cleveland Browns, a game that the Raiders expect to have a chance to win in. Reports are coming out that McFadden is “unlikely” to play later today, which means fellow running back Mike Goodson is also likely to be inactive for this week since they both were setback by the same injury.

The Raiders defense will have their hands full with the Brown’s rookie stud Trent Richardson, so a lack of a run game will make it extremely hard for the Raiders to face the Brown’s secondary.

The running game has been bad, but it has been bad with McFadden as well. The Raiders have yet to score a rushing touchdown without McFadden, but even with McFadden, he only had two rushing touchdowns on the year (which one was a 50-plus-yard run).

Last week, the Raiders managed to record 99 yards rushing, which is good, but Carson Palmer need to be more active at the beginning of the game for opening drives, otherwise the running game becomes obsolete when they are already down like 20 points.

This will be a tough game for the Browns after the recent news an employee took their life at the Brown’s facility the same day of the tragic incident with Javon Belcher. This may be one of those weeks, no matter what the outcome of any game, players and teams will mourn on this tragic weekend.
