Tennessee Titans are injury prone after week 13 against Texans

Jake Locker vs Houston Texans

The good thing is that the Tennessee Titans didn’t lose nearly as bad as they have in the past to the Houston Texans. The bad thing is, they still lost. But the part of the game that was even worse was all of the injuries that occurred.

To me that is what really stuck out. I have been saying this for the past few weeks and now it is finally catching up with them. The Titans need to stay healthy. They were not today against the Texans.

All the players are frustrated, even former players. Check out this tweet from Vince Young.

Chris Johnson and Kenny Britt were the two Titans off of the field first. Britt avoided all reporters stating that he needed ‘to cool off. I’ll say something wrong.” To me, considering the situation it was a very understandable and respectful move. Many athletes will rant and rave after yet another loss, but Britt, not meaning any disrespect chose to avoid that outcome. That says something for a player that is known to have a hot head.

According to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean Jake Locker was a little shaken up with his shoulder on one of the last few plays. Veteran Matt Hasselbeck was ready to go in, but never did. Locker had four turnovers today, two picks and two fumbles. More of an update on Locker will be posted once confirmed information becomes available.

Locker wasn’t the only player hurt in today’s game though which provided a lot of issues for the Titans. Kamerion Wimbley, Michael Roos, David Stewart (fractured right leg) Damian Williams and Steve Hutchinson (knee) were all down at one point.

There was a lot that happened today and with the Texans victory over the Titans they improve to 11-1 and clenched a playoff position. The Titans fell to 4-8.
