The Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans will square off this afternoon in an AFC South Division showdown. The Titans are one of the worst teams not only in the division but the league, and the Texans are on the exact opposite side of things being one of the best with a 10-1 record.

For today’s game both sides are pretty minimal with their injuries as far as players not being active. For the Titans are the following. Quarterback Rusty Smith, running back Jamie Harper (ankle), linebacker Colin McCarthy (concussion),wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins (ankle), cornerback Ryan Mouton, defensive tackle DaJohn Harris and tackle Byron Stingily.

On the Texans side of things, cornerbacks Alan Ball (foot) and Johnathan Joseph (hamstring) will be sitting the sidelines today. They will be joined by linebackers Bradie James (hamstring) and Brooks Reed (groin). Guards Antoine Caldwell (hamstring) and Cody White will also be inactive. Rapping up the list for the Texans is tackle Derek Newton (knee).

Glad to see Matt Schaub is doing alright after last week’s run-in with Detroit Lions’ defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

Many people are predicting that this game will be yet another blow out easy win for the Texans. The Titans sure will have to pull out a lot of stakes to keep themselves alive in this one. With new changes to the Titans offense, mainly including the coaching staff it will be interesting to see if there is a noticeable difference in the Titans game plan.

The game begins at Noon central time in Nashville Tennessee.
