This is not good news at all. There are various reports about this incident but nothing has been confirmed outside of the fact that he is in jail. For a team that does not need anymore distractions, this is a huge one. It is a very tragic situation for everyone involved and more details are probably forthcoming.
I am not 100 percent sure what intoxication manslaughter is, so I decided to look it up and give the readers some of the details. It sounds a bit more complicated than it actually is.
Texas law states that if a person commits an offense if a person operates a motor vehicle in a public place while intoxicated and by reason of that intoxication causes the death of another by accident or mistake
So that does not sound good. We will hear more about this soon as I believe the Cowboys are having a team meeting about this. This has just been a real bad week for football teams and deaths. We have seen too many tragic situations and it really needs to stop.
