Have you heard? That Jairus Byrd is the word! I am writing this editorial because I think Jairus Byrd of the Buffalo Bills is the best free safety in the AFC and deserves to go to the Pro Bowl this year. He has been a ball hawk since coming into the league in 2009 as a cornerback playing for the University of Oregon Ducks that figured to be too slow to play corner, so he was moved for free safety and the rest as they say is history.

This season alone, Byrd is tied for second in the NFL with five interceptions, also has 39 tackles, and has also forced three fumbles with four games to go.

I know he made it in 2009 after leading the league with nine interceptions, but couldn’t make the trip to the Aloha State due to nagging groin and sports hernia injury that kept him out at the beginning of the season. This year is different because he’s healthy, dominant, and confident, not to mention will cash in this off-season either with the Bills or another team, but that’s just my take, what do you all think? Let me know!

Once again thank you  for reading one of my articles, and I heavily encourage discussion so either leave a comment on here, hit me up on twitter @TheProfessorSD or I am using Google+ so if you could +1 this and any other article of mine you’ve read and liked. I will discuss this article or anything else you’d like football related! Have a great day!
