Arizona Cardinals Need to fire Ken Whisenhunt Now
When the Arizona Cardinals won the first four games of the season hopes were high. Ken Whisenhunt‘s job seemed secure. Unfortunately for him, the worst thing that could happen is happening. The Cardinals have not won a game since week four against the Miami Dolphins. For almost an entire season fans have watched the Cardinals’ offense struggle to even put a few scores on the board.
This week the Cardinals could not score any points and were blown out of Century Link Field. This loss told me one thing, and it’s that Whisenhunt needs to be fired, and it needs to be now. The team showed effort in the loss, but bad luck has been the story of the season. They are the worst team in the NFL right now. As far as I am concerned the Cardinals need to fire a coach that tends to get on losing streaks almost every season he is a coach.
QB John Skelton was terrible today and his backup and replacement was not much better. The Cardinals are obviously in a bad place right now and because of that you have to feel bad for for veteran players like Larry Fitzgerald. He deserves to be in a better situation and his teammates and coaching staff have let him down.
Whisenhunt needs to be fire because the Cardinals need a change. Giving DC Ray Horton the job for the final three games as a tryout is the best thing this team could possibly do right now. Well, that and losing the final three games to get a better draft position. The Cardinals have forgotten how to win and nothing can remind a team better than the fear of losing your job. Firing Whisenhunt now sends a message to the team that says failure is not an option.
