15 Denver Broncos In The Top 5 Of Their Position For NFL Pro Bowl Voting
NFL Pro Bowl Voting
The Denver Broncos have 15 players that are in the top five of their position in the NFL Pro Bowl voting. The Broncos will not get that many that actually make the team, but that proves that the Broncos are starting to be a very popular team again thanks to the Broncos organization for bringing in QB Peyton Manning.
Manning not only makes the team better because of his play at the quarterback position he also makes everyone work harder because they see what he expects and they want to win. Manning makes the Broncos a better team and makes the players around him better on both sides of the ball.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see 9 or 10 Broncos make the Pro Bowl and most if not all are well deserving. You can continue voting for your favorites to be in the Pro Bowl until December 17th and feel free to vote as many times as possible.
In the actual Pro Bowl selections I don't think they will take more than 3 at each position except maybe wide receiver. So the Broncos may end up with about 9 Pro Bowlers if voting ended today. Remember to keep voting if you want to see your Broncos in the Pro Bowl.

QB Peyton Manning has had an amazing season. He has thrown for 3,812 yards, 30 touchdowns, and only 10 picks. He currently has received the most votes in the NFL.
Von Miller is on his way to being the most voted on linebacker in the AFC. He has 57 tackles, 16 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, and an interception that he took for a touchdown. It wouldn't surprise me if he made the Pro Bowl and received defensive player of the year.
Wesley Woodyard is in 2nd in the Pro Bowl voting for his position. Woodyard has recorded 100 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumbles, and 3 interceptions. He has done this even though he has missed one game with an injury. He should be on the Pro Bowl squad in Hawaii.
Champ Bailey is in 2nd place in the voting for his position. The Pro Bowl is nothing new to Bailey and you should see him in Hawaii again. He has 54 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 18 passes defensed. He doesn't get many opportunities because opposing QBs stay away from Bailey.
Denver Broncos OG Zane Beadles has really stepped up this season and has not only protect Peyton Manning very well. he has also help in the running game. Beadles is currently 2nd in the voting at his position and looks like he will make the trip to Hawaii.
DE Elvis Dumervil is an electrifying defensive pass rusher that has a knack for jarring the ball lose. He has recorded 46 tackles, 8 sacks, and forced 6 fumbles on the season. He is in 2nd place in vote at his position and he should be a lock for the Pro Bowl.
Ryan Clady is the OT that protects perhaps the best QB in the NFL. What else do you have to say? He is a lock for the Pro Bowl year in and year out. He's 3rd in voting at his position which should be enough to get him voted in.
Who else touches the ball every play for one of the best offenses in the league besides the QB? That would be the center Dan Koppen for the Denver Broncos. Koppen has been great in protection and in the running game. He is 3rd in the voting at his position and deserves a shot at the Pro Bowl.
David Bruton plays most all the special teams for the Denver Broncos and does them all well. He has made several tackles on special teams and seems to always apply heavy pressure on punters and kickers. He is currently 3rd at his position in the Pro Bowl voting.
Trindon Holliday has returned a punt for a 76 yard touchdown and a kickoff for a 105 yard touchdown in just 8 games with the Denver Broncos. That alone should have him considered for a top spot for the Pro Bowl as a return specialist.
Kicker Matt Prater has connected on 42 of 42 extra points and 21 of 25 field goals. He has also made 3 from 40+ yards and 3 from 50+ yards. He has a 81 percent success rate on the season. He is currently 4th in the Pro Bowl voting for kickers. I don't think we will see him in Hawaii this season.
Punter Britton Colquitt has the 2nd best net punt average in the NFL and is currently 4th place in the Pro Bowl voting for punters. This guy deserves a chance at the Pro Bowl and we just might end up seeing him there if he and the Broncos can finish the season strong.
WR Demaryius Thomas ranks in the top of the league in all major receiving categories. He has 74 receptions, 1,197 yards, and 8 touchdowns so far after only 13 games this season. He could easily finish with a 90 catch, 1,500 yard, and 10 touchdowns season in his third NFL season. He will be at the Pro Bowl and is currently 4th in the receiver voting.
WR Eric Decker is 5th in the receiver Pro Bowl voting and he is also deserving of consideration for the Pro Bowl. He has recorded 64 receptions, 790 yards, and 8 touchdowns. I don't see him actually making the roster, but I think after another year with Manning a Pro Bowl may be in his near future.
FB Chris Gronkowski has only recorded 1 reception for 11 yards on the season, but what he does so well is make holes for his running backs. He is currently 5th in the full back voting. I wouldn't plan on seeing Gronk the full back at the Pro Bowl.
