Does It Really Matter At This Point What Broncos CB Tracy Porter Tweets?

Tracy Porter, CB of the Denver Broncos has been tweeting some interesting things the past couple of days.  He has been inactive since week five when the Broncos played the New England Patriots.  Unfortunately, he began experiencing some seizure-like symptoms and supposedly the Broncos have just been very cautious with his return.

With word from Porter through his tweets, though, maybe Broncos fans and sports nuts will just be thinking differently.  With the elevated play of Chris Harris and Tony Carter, while the Denver defense has been playing incredible during their win streak, maybe it is just the fact that John Fox has nowhere to play Porter.

One thing that the Broncos can not afford is any divided issues in the locker room, and I give Porter credit for not just putting idiotic fodder out there through social media.  I understand if he is frustrated and even aggravated, but he needs to just take it as it comes and realize that this team may need him somewhere down the road.  The only insurance to keeping him around for that day is if he keeps his mouth shut.

As long as the play of Harris and Carter continues, it doesn’t really matter what Porter tweets. He will ride the inactive list the same as Caleb Hanie and earlier in the year, Knowshon Moreno.  But when Moreno was called on, he was ready and willing to do his best.  That’s the kind of unity that Porter needs to have.
