Super Bowl Preview Sunday Night

It is rare that this late in the National Football League season that you get an inter-conference matchup between arguably the top team in each conference as the San Francisco 49ers face the New England Patriots on Sunday night. I think this is going to be the Super Bowl matchup in six weeks in New Orleans. It has become very obvious that each of these teams is peaking at the right time too.

If you look at New England, they just destroyed the Houston Texans last Sunday night in a game that will likely be for the conference championship at the end of January. Tom Brady and the Patriots offense are really clicking right now and I really don’t think anyone can stop them at this point. If there is one team that could make it a ton tougher for New England to score at will, it would be the 49ers with the top defense in the league. San Francisco won’t allow the Patriots to get away with everything that they have been running in recent weeks.

I think this is going to be a low-scoring game as I think the San Francisco defense will be able to hold down New England enough to make this not be a 35-28 game. I really hope this is a preview for that Super Bowl though just for the storylines that will be out there with the top offense against the top defense. This is a game that all NFL fans should take note of tonight and be sure to be watching as we could see it again very soon.
