The Arizona Cardinals List 13 on Their Injury Report
The Arizona Cardinals are hurting and the injury report tells the tale. Although I expect most of these players to play, it will be obvious on Sunday that the Cardinals are not 100 percent. The Chicago Bears are a superior football team any way, but crazy things happen in the NFL all the time. Based on the large number of players listed on this report, I would not bet on the Cardinals. Here is the full list from Wednesday:
Did Not Practice
WR Early Doucet, S Rashad Johnson, S James Sanders
DE Calais Campbell, G Mike Gibson, LB Quentin Groves, TE Rob Housler, T Nate Potter, RB Anthony Sherman, DE Ronald Talley, CB Greg Toler, DT Dan Williams
The biggest problem on this list is Doucet. He still has to pass the concussion tests the league requires under the new rules. Everyone else is either not a big factor or is expected to tough out the final two games of the season. The person I would not like to see play is Campbell. As soon as the season was over, a few weeks back, the Cardinals should have placed him on the injured reserve list, so they could prevent serious injury. If he is seriously hurt in the final two games of the season, the Cardinals are going to be kicking themselves.
The amount of injuries the Cardinals have had to deal with this year has been ridiculous. It seems each week another piece of the puzzle is lost. There is a way to beat the Bears, but the Cardinals have to play mistake free football and help the Bears implode. They need to get in Jay Cutler‘s head early and take him out of the game. If he gets any confidence early in the game, it will be over very quickly.
The Cardinals will probably start QB Ryan Lindley over John Skelton. Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt has had just about enough of Skelton because he is one of the biggest reasons he will probably not have a job next year. Fans need to hold onto hope because, right now, that is the only thing left.

Three forgotten WRs that could add depth to the Cincinnati Bengals

Considering the team’s recent injury history at the wide receiver position, some depth doesn’t hurt either. Here is a look at a handful of guys who the Bengals should look at to fill the void left by James Wright: Read More
