Last week the Tennessee Titans lucked out by getting a win against the New York Jets. It was an ugly win, but a win at that. While the Jets have their own quarterback problems the Titans have other things to worry about. Like the Green Bay Packers.
Week 16 will probably not be a pretty one. I’m anticipating something like the games against the Chicago Bears and Houston Texans. The Packers have already clinched the NFC North so they really don’t have anything to worry about. The thing that will be interesting about this game is going to be what the Packers try to change up against the Titans.
Normally with a team that isn’t doing so great, you can try different plays and go to different people to get more names on the field. It will be interesting to see what kind of stuff they try to pull. Their defense will probably stay the same in the fact that Jake Locker and his offensive line need to be extremely aware of Packers linebacker Clay Matthews.
But the Titans have something to prove, there are still two games left in their season. If the Titans come out the way they did against the Miami Dolphins (and no I don’t believe the Dolphins and Packers are equivalent) they could hold their own.
Next week when the Titans play the Jacksonville Jaguars for the second time this season it will be a little easier for them to get a win but going into week 16 they need to be focused on who they are playing one week at a time. And it is going to take all their attention to keep their heads afloat for this one.
