With another blowout victory at home, this time against the division leading San Francisco 49ers, the Seattle Seahawks have moved up to six overall on the NFL Power Rankings for Week 17.

The offense of Seattle has been on an incredible hot streak over the last three weeks putting up 150 points in just three games. Quarterback Russell Wilson and running back Marshawn Lynch have succeeded week after week helping the Seahawks to continue their winning streak to four games and a playoff berth.

The defense has also done and an amazing job against the opponents allowing only 30 points being scored in the last three outings. Cornerback Richard Sherman has scored a touchdown in two or the last three showing that not only can the Seahawks get points from the offense, the special teams and defense have been able to contribute as well.

Seattle has put everything together and is quickly becoming a team that no one wants to face especially at home. If the Seahawks can keep playing at this high level, they have a great chance to make some noise in the playoffs this year.

With a small chance of winning the NFC West title, Seattle will focus on the last game of the season against the St. Luis Rams at home. With another home game, the Seahawks could easily come close to scoring another 50 points and come away with an 11-5 season after finishing only 7-9 last year.

Seattle should finish the season undefeated at home and continue to hot streak into the playoffs.
