There’s no question that the NFL has its fair share of bandwagon fans, either jumping on when the team decides to start winning, or when a team is on a downturn how many fans jump off and stay off. It is annoying when teams start winning or at least giving the hint of it and everyone jumps on then the second the team flounders the “fans” flee the ship in a blink of an eye.

These five teams have an absurd amount of bandwagon fans, there are some teams that have only had a “winning tradition” for the last decade, and I’m willing to bet they wouldn’t ever care about their team that they cheer oh so “die hard” for. Also there should be a quiz the majority of the fans on their team’s history when they had horrendous seasons.

Are these teams successful right now? Absolutely, however if they have consecutive losing seasons with pitiful records, their fan base would shrink greatly and become no larger than the size of Juneau, Alaska in February if they are lucky. It makes me wonder how passionate they were going through hard times, or if they even know that their team used to be a laughing stock too, as the league is extremely cyclic.

Frankly, these teams deserve to be knocked down a peg or two with how downright cocky their team’s fans can be anywhere you go, even over social media and it’s even worse when commentators across the league join into it when they make some dumb assertions without naming names at all.

In the years before Peyton Manning and the year before losing him, the Colts put on clinics in absurdity and subsequently attendance was lower than low. However it miraculously rebounded this year like Manning never left after Andrew Luck was drafted this year.

Ah yes, the former Cleveland Browns I'm mixed this team plus I wonder how many of the diehards were transplant Browns fans that never thought they'd come back, or for that matter if the younger fans even know the team is only been in Baltimore since 1996.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are the terrible towel crazies; however that's what this team was this year, simply terrible. Their problem next year is their team will be a year older and a few players will consider retirement in the off-season more than likely.

Your biggest fan who quit this year used to be a fan of the Miami Dolphins!? It's true and so many fans of yours ran away this year and the number kept getting bigger as each week went on. I'll be interesting to see what happens in 2013 if the status quo hasn't changed much if at all.

And now on to the biggest fan base of Bandwagon fans of all-time, the New England Patriots even larger than the Dallas Cowboys. One fan mentioned the team’s long winning tradition, does he know that between 1989 and 1993 the pats had a combined 19 wins and 61 losses and nearly moved out of New England after the 1993 season?
