Denver Broncos And Baltimore Ravens Battling In The First Quarter

The Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens game in Denver this afternoon is shaping up to be one heck of a battle as the Broncos jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead on a punt return. The Ravens battled right back with a PERFECT pitch and catch from Joe Flacco to Torrey Smith as Smith beat Champ Bailey long. It might have been the best throw of the year for Flacco, and one of the better ones I’ve seen in awhile. Throw in a pick 6 by Corey Graham? The back and forth has already started.

The Broncos have been plagued by penalties but are driving deep in baltimore territory as I’m writing this. Peyton Manning has looked real sharp so far even though the pick 6 cost him some points.

I’m looking forward to watching the rest of this one as it’s going to be a battle from start to finish. As a prediction? I don’t even think I can give you one right now! We’ll be updating the progress of this football game right here on, so feel free to join in the conversation below!

UPDATE: Manning just threw a beautiful score in the corner of the endzone to tie the game up at 14 late in the first quarter.
