“Harbaugh Bowl”: Best Case Scenario For NFL

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL and it’s fans would go absolutely crazy if the biggest football game of the year involved two brothers going head-to-head. Well, with the Baltimore Ravens handling their business versus the Denver Broncos on Saturday afternoon, the hypothetical “Harbaugh Bowl” is alive and well. If San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh defeats the Green Bay Packers talk will begin to swirl of what could be the most historic Super Bowl of all time.

Super Bowl Sunday is a national holiday in the United States of America and is an event that involves plenty of family camaraderie. Brothers and sisters from around the country would rejoice in the fact that a certain pair of siblings would be on the nations largest stage coaching against one another.

This game would peak interest to a whole new audience as proud mothers or grandmothers that would be interested knowing their is family ties within the usually boring ballgame. There would be a camera permanently be fixed upon each of the brothers. Of course once game-time approached all brotherly love would be thrown aside, however it would be incredibly interested to see what the family would be doing throughout this process.

The boys father was also an NFL coach, so his decision on “who to root for” would be dramatic itself. My guess is that John Harbaugh would get the nod as he is the oldest and they always get special treatment.

Of course the Super Bowl is a few weeks away and a lot has yet to happen in these NFL playoffs, but its foolish not to think the “Harbaugh Bowl” would be a spectacle to all.
