The Baltimore Ravens scored in a short but sweet drive of four plays that took 93 seconds that ended with a second touchdown pass to wide receiver Anquan Boldin. It likely sealed the game as the first team to beat the New England Patriots after the Pats had the lead at home at the half with Tom Brady.
Boldin has had five catches for 60 yards and two touchdowns and that’s a solid day as the Patriots had only 13 points today, and I want to be one of the first to congratulate the Ravens on going back to the Super Bowl, or should I call it the “Har Bowl” as it’s a battle of brothers between John and Jim Harbaugh. It will be a very good matchup, having two excellent defenses to say the least.
Back to Boldin. He is an incredibly tenacious wide receiver who is extremely physical and catches so many impressive balls that he shouldn’t be able to catch. On top of that all, he’s an excellent leader on offense and a mentor to Torrey Smith and all of the younger offensive players on this Ravens team.
Will Boldin and the Ravens keep on winning this game? Will they claim victory in two weeks in New Orleans to win it all? I think so because the motivation to send Ray Lewis out as a winner would be extremely fitting to say the least.
