Before the season started, I don’t think anyone would have guessed that John Harbaugh would be facing his brother Jim Harbaugh in the Super Bowl. The two brothers had to overcome a lot to face each other in what will be known as the Harbowl or the Harbaugh Bowl.
Seriously, the Baltimore Ravens taking on the San Francisco 49ers is going to be one filled with storylines. It is the last ride for Ray Lewis, who is looking to end his career with a championship. Can Colin Kaepernick continue his great play in the playoffs? What defense will be the one to dominate?
If you are not intrigued by this game, there is probably something wrong with you. It will get a ton of media hype, which could either be good or bad. The storyline will be focused on over and over again, but it should be able to draw the ratings. It may not have Tom Brady and company but that does not matter. This matchup is probably the best one going forward.
I expect the game to be a close one, although the 49ers will be favored. The Ravens have played great in recent weeks, but they still have a tendency to end up playing too conservative. The 49ers, on the other hand, have shown a great ability to adjust and dominate after halftime. These two teams matchup well together, so a blowout would shock a lot of people.
With the way these two teams look going forward, this might not be the only big game matchup between the brothers.
