White has loved to play against the 49ers. In 2007 with Bryon Leftwich , White had three catches for 55 yards. Then under Matt Ryan in 2009 he had 10 catches for 210 yards and two touchdown receptions and finally in 2010 he had nine catches for 104 yards. Thus regardless he has had very good and exceptional games versus this superb defense, not to mention playing in the Georgia Dome will only help as that’s the fast track and will keep him in the comfort zone.
White should continue to produce great numbers as now Julio Jones has certainly came into his own and the 49ers defense will have to respect him. Of course there is sure fire Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez as well. White has sure hands and is a wily veteran who will make plays and will get open for his quarterback as he has done in years past.
What do I think Roddy White will do today? He could have eight catches and 120 yards and at least one touchdown, maybe even the game winner as he has extremely reliable hands and is a clutch performer with amazing veteran leadership tendencies that clearly have helped Jones in his two seasons so far and will pay dividends for years to come.
