Baltimore Ravens‘ wide receiver Torrey Smith needs another big game like he did versus the New England Patriots like in week three on Sunday night football when he played out of his mind and made himself a household name.
On the season, Smith had 49 catches, 855 yards receiving yards and eight touchdown receptions and has no signs of slowing down at all now that the games have turned colder. Smith is a great story as he is a local talent from Colonial Beach,Virginia, and went to college and played for the University of Maryland Terrapins and now plays for the Ravens. When I mention week three, that’s the week where he tragically lost his brother then had a career game with six catches 127 yards and two touchdowns.
What do I think Torrey could do today? I think he could have a repeat of what he did back in September which was nothing short of extraordinary. Although I think he could do even better due to him becoming more and more confident after last weeks’ game versus the Denver Broncos. Smith is only 23 years old, but he is wise beyond his years. He should excel with minimal effort if he’s defended by anyone besides Aqib Talib. However, versus Talib, he will have to use more of his finesse and double moves and using his sheer speed to beat him deep as well.
