The short and easy answer of will Baltimore Ravens‘ living legend Ray Lewis end his career just like former running back of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jerome Bettis, by being a player of destiny and in his last year win the Super Bowl is yes he can!

Lewis is without debate is the most influential player ever to play the linebacker position in the history of the NFL. He has his entire Ravens teammates supremely confident in that they can do anything including beating the San Francisco 49ers next Sunday in Super Bowl XLVII down in New Orleans, Louisiana. Lewis is no stranger to adversity even in this season alone as he tore his triceps muscle off of the bone and begged the team’s owner, Steve Bisciotti to put him on the on the Injured Reserve Recall list, so he could return after eight weeks instead of season ending injured reserve.

Lewis has been to the big show before, back in 2000-01 he and the Ravens won it all with the most potent defense in the history of the league, however this year the defense isn’t as good as that year, but the Ravens have a solid offense with quarterback Joe Flacco who has played out of his mind this year’s playoffs with running back Ray Rice and also has two legit receiving threats Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith. So with all this offensive production there is far less pressure on this defense to be nothing short of perfect since this team is firing on all cylinders and seemingly no team can stop them now.
