Harbaugh Bowl: Are Harbaughs the Best NFL Coaching Brothers of All-Time?
This could be a really short article if I wanted it to be. Are Jim Harbaugh and John Harbaugh the best NFL coaching brothers? Um, yeah. Yep, they are. Thanks, come again. If we want to dissect the question a little more, we can do that too. They probably weren’t the best just a few years ago. There was a time not too long ago that I didn’t even know both were coaches in the NFL.
Now, everyone on Earth knows John and Jim are great coaching brothers. What makes them the best of all-time is that they are both extremely successful. They are great leaders, great motivators and great coaches all around. They were last year as well, but they didn’t get to the big game together. This year the two best teams in all of the NFL are coached by two guys that grew up across the hall from each other. That has never happened before. It might seem a bit too easy to call them the best just because of the Super Bowl. That’s why that isn’t the only reason.
The leadership skills it takes to coach a player like Ray Lewis should speak for themselves. This is a man who wouldn’t just take direction from any lame duck coach. Colin Kaepernick is proof of the guts and insight that Jim Harbaugh coaches with. Few coaches in the history of the NFL would have made that quarterback change and yet it was the best move of the season. When it comes down to it, the fact that they are meeting in the Super Bowl proves what has been true for little while and will become more true as time goes on. The Harbaugh brothers are the best NFL coaching brothers of all-time.
