Top 5 Super Bowl XLVII Commercials
Best Super Bowl XLVII Ads
After all the confetti has fallen, and the winner of the Super Bowl- this year it was the Baltimore Ravens- has held up the Lombardi Trophy, there is still another winner that needs to be crowned. The all-important “Best Super Bowl Commercial” award must be given out.
The Monday following the Super Bowl, there are usually two topics discussed while co-workers gather around the watercooler. First, you discuss how the game went, and how amazing you are for predicting the winning team. As soon as you’re done lying to your peers about how you correctly picked the final score, you begin to dissect which commercials were the best. You talk about the one that made you laugh so hard that you started choking on your friend’s homemade meatballs. You make your argument for why you thought a certain ad was the most creative. But in the end, it really all comes down to one question, “What was your favorite Super Bowl Commercial?”.
With the average cost of a 30-second Super Bowl ad spot being around $4 million, most advertisers spend countless hours, days, weeks and months making sure they have the best and most unique commercial for the big game. Advertisers want to come up with an ad that will have all of America searching the Internet the morning after the Super Bowl in order to view their ad again and again.
So, now that Super Bowl XLVII is over, and we begin to recover from our food comas, it’s time to once again decipher which commercials stood out this Super Bowl Sunday, and ultimately pick a winner.
With that being said, here is my list of the Top Five Super Bowl XLVII Commercials.
