Baltimore Ravens Act Irresponsibly After Winning Super Bowl

I just don’t understand how a team can act the way the Baltimore Ravens did after winning Super Bowl XLVII. Maybe it was because they had gone through so many trials and tribulations all season, or maybe it was all Joe Flacco’s doing but somehow, the Ravens managed to lose the thing they fought so hard for, the Vince Lombardi Trophy!

That’s right, for a few hours after they were celebrating their triumphant season, the Ravens lost the Super Bowl trophy. How the heck can they lose something so shiny and new? It’s like opening your favorite gift on Christmas and then losing it later that day. It’s just plain irresponsible of the Ravens to lose the trophy. Of course I’m kidding but where did the trophy disappear to?

Apparently they managed to find it because head coach John Harbaugh was seen with it at his press conference on Monday morning but why wasn’t the trophy at the Ravens Super Bowl party after they won? Did owner Steve Bisciotti not want to ruin it with a bunch of rowdy, possibly drunk, players or is there some other reason for the Ravens misplacing the trophy? Your guess is as good as mine but the possibilities are endless.

I’m guessing there is a reasonable explanation for where the Lombardi Trophy was during the Ravens championship party and I’m also guessing there will be a cool story to go with it, just not in the foreseeable future. We’ll probably find out when the NFL Network does their ‘America’s Game’ special on the 2012 Baltimore Ravens.

Until then, we’ll just have to keep on wondering what the heck happened to the Super Bowl trophy? I’d question Jim Harbaugh first.
