Over the last 14 seasons, Donald Driver has always been a favorite of Green Bay Packers fans and he will surely be missed now that he’s decided to call it a career after the 2012 season. Angie LeRoy, a 78-year-old cancer survivor, happens to be one of the biggest fans of No. 80 and on Wednesday–Driver made one of her top wishes come true by paying her a visit before leaving on a trip for Dallas.

Driver paid a visit to LeRoy’s house in Bellevue, Wisconsin on Wednesday and from the look on her face in the video below–Driver at her front door was the last thing she expected to see that afternoon as the wideout had seen her on the news the night before. LeRoy had been part of a story for Fox 11 in Wisconsin on her salute to Driver as she decorated her door to honor No. 80’s career and now–she can officially say her biggest wish come true.

Donald Driver surprises longtime fan

It’s no wonder Driver was so loved by Packers fans considering he was willing to take the time out of his day to perform a kind act like this. Seeing stories like this is what makes certain athletes such role models and seeing Driver’s enthusiasm and excitement over meeting LeRoy is nothing short of amazing.

On top of the gear she’s collected over the years, LeRoy can officially say Driver came to her house–which is a story not many Packers fans can say about their favorite player.
