NFL Rumors: Miami Dolphins No Longer Interested in Greg Jennings?

There’s been plenty of talk about the possibility of Greg Jennings ending up with the Miami Dolphins this offseason considering the price to keep him around with the Green Bay Packers seemed like it would be too much for the 2013 season. Now, it appears one of the top NFL rumors involves the chances of Jennings ending up with the Dolphins being unlikely.

At first, it seemed like Jennings would end up in Miami thanks to his history with Joe Philbin, but it appears the head coach isn’t that big of a fan of the wide receiver as a player. If this happens to be true, then it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Dolphins end up pursuing another key free agent wide receiver–someone like Mike Wallace of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Plus, keep in mind Jennings is seeking a long-term deal with a certain amount of money that is going to be hefty for any player at his level. There’s no question Jennings is capable of being one of the top players in the league when healthy, but he was limited to playing in just eight games last season while catching 36 passes for 366 yards to go along with four touchdowns.

Only time will tell when it comes to which team Jennings will end up playing for in 2013, but it looks like the Dolphins may not seem like as much of an option as originally expected–which could make free agency even more interesting over the next couple of months.
