Ahmad Bradshaw Would Make a Great Addition For Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals have been looking for another running back to compliment BenJarvus Green-Ellis in the backfield all season, but there hasn’t been anyone that has stood out enough to make an official offer. One running back that comes to mind–former New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw.

Since his release from the Giants, Bradshaw has gained interest from numerous teams in need of a running back and there’s no reason why they shouldn’t be. Bradshaw is a two-time Super Bowl champion and has proven to be very effective when healthy–which is why he would make a great addition for a team like Cincinnati.

The Bengals already have a solid No. 1 running back in Green-Ellis and their ground game would become even stronger with another running back like Bradshaw to compliment him in the backfield. Plus, Bradshaw is already used to splitting carries in the backfield with other running backs–so there’s no reason for that to be a concern.

This may just be interest as of now, but the Bengals need to do whatever it takes to make this happen over the next couple of weeks. For a team that has made a surprise run at the playoffs each of the last two seasons, Cincinnati is quickly becoming one of the top teams to compete with in the AFC.

If Bradshaw wanted to play for a competitor–he should do the same and do whatever it takes to join the Bengals for the 2013 season.
