Indianapolis Colts: 2013 NFL Schedule Released
The 2013 NFL regular season schedule was released tonight. All 16 matchups were known beforehand as the NFL uses the same scheduling techniques every year. The only thing missing were the dates and times.
That is now known.
The biggest game of the Indianapolis Colts’ schedule and what could be the biggest game in franchise history despite their two Super Bowl appearances in 2007 and 2010 with the Denver Broncos now has a date. The Colts will host the Peyton Manning led Broncos on October 20th.
That game will be the second of three primetime appearances for the Colts in ’13. The Colts will take on the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football October 14th in San Diego. They then take on the Broncos six days later in Lucas Oil Stadium on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
Indianapolis has a bye week after the Denver game then will travel to Houston to take on the Houston Texans in Reliant Stadium for the third straight game with all being on national TV.
The Colts will host the St. Louis Rams following the Texans game on November 10th, and then take on the Tennessee Titans on a short week Thursday Night November 14th for their fourth and final primetime game on NFL Network.
That’s four primetime appearances in five games for Indianapolis as they become a marquee team.
