After enjoying the ninth-easiest strength of schedule last season, the 2013 Washington Redskins schedule looks significantly more brutal. One would imagine the NFC East will bounce back after three consecutive seasons without sending a wild-card team, and also the division champions slate kicks in for the ‘Skins.

The slate does, however, contour to the recovery schedule of quarterback Robert Griffin III rather well. With concerns that RG3 may not return by Week 1, Washington has the fortune of getting the Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions and Oakland Raiders in the first month — or three of the top five teams drafting this April.

Things pick up a bit after the Week 5 bye with road tilts against Tony Romo and Peyton Manning amid a stretch that features four road games across six weeks.

Much changes over the course of a an offseason and regular season, but the Redskins appear to hit really tough sledding starting with Nov. 25’s visit to FedEx Field by the San Francisco 49ers. The Redskins follow this contest against the reigning NFC champs with trips to the Meadowlands and the Georgia Dome in December.

The Redskins’ 2013 regular season schedule below:

Week 1: Philadelphia Eagles

Week 2: @ Green Bay Packers

Week 3: Detroit Lions

Week 4: @ Oakland Raiders

Week 6: @ Dallas Cowboys
