As much as he doesn’t want to hear it, last season with the San Francisco 49ers was most likely Randy Moss‘ best shot at winning a Super Bowl in his career as the potential Hall of Fame wideout has now reached the big game twice in his career, but has yet to win a ring. After the 49ers weren’t interested in bringing Moss back, many wondered if he would still manage to end up with a contender for the 2013 season or simply just jump right back into retirement.
With the start of training camp a little over two months away, it appears Moss is still undecided about what he wants to do.

Randy Moss still hasn’t decided if he wants to play next season, I’m told.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to determine what this means considering Moss is most likely undecided at this point because the only way he’ll return for the 2013 season is if he’s playing for a contender. Unfortunately for Moss, there’s a good chance no contenders have gone out of their way to reach out to the wideout about the possibility of coming on board next year and chances are–interest won’t be coming around anytime soon.
There was a time a couple of years ago when Moss was considered one of the most dangerous wide receivers in the league, but after catching just 28 passes in 2012–it’s safe to say the old Moss is officially history.
