The San Francisco 49ers were just awarded Super Bowl 50 by the NFL in 2015. The 49ers new stadium, Levi’s Stadium, is scheduled to open by the 2014 season and will allow two full seasons to be played before hosting the milestone Super Bowl.

The Niners are currently one of the favorites to win the upcoming Super Bowl after being edged out by the Baltimore Ravens this past year. It is unprecedented for a team to play in a Super Bowl they host, but the 49ers are set up for long term success and will be the Super Bowl favorites in 2015.

With players like Colin Kaepernick, Michael Crabtree, Aldon Smith, Patrick Willis, Navorro Bowman, Mike Iupati and Anthony Davis all entering or still in their prime in 2015, the 49ers have superstars loaded at multiple positions that will only continue to grow and get better. With over 10 draft picks in the 2014 draft that is expected to be loaded with talent, the 49ers should add even more talented players to an already stacked roster.

This continues a great couple of years for the franchise. After getting Head Coach Jim Harbaugh, the 49ers turned into an elite team that has drafted among the best, have also gotten a new billion dollar stadium with naming rights and now are awarded the monumental Super Bowl 50. 49ers owner Jed York has established himself as one of the better owners in the NFL at only 33 years old. The immediate future is obviously bright for this franchise trying to return to their Golden Age.
