Dallas Cowboys Fans Irked By Michael Strahan's Foolish Tweets

It seems like the ribbing never ends at the expense of the Dallas Cowboys and yesterday is was former New York Giants defensive lineman Michael Strahan’s turn. Strahan began the digs at the Cowboys when reading that Gil Brandt tweeted that he expected the Cowboys to win the NFC East in 2013.

Cowboys fans, a group never to let something go, responded to Strahan by saying that he wished he could have played for the Cowboys. Strahan shot back at that with the following tweet:

Obviously we have no way of knowing whether the Cowboys would have won a Super Bowl if Strahan played for them but it’s a fairly ridiculous thing to say. Strahan has never lacked confidence and that’s fine but if he was such a difference maker why did it take so long for him to win a Super Bowl? It’s not like he won three of them with different teams, nor was he the missing link to for a Super Bowl team. He wasn’t Deion Sanders or Reggie White, who were true difference makers in the 1990’s, so it’s foolish for him to make that claim.

Cowboys fans don’t care about those facts though, they are always more interested in defending ‘the Star’ and perhaps that’s why Strahan took his shots at them. Strahan later said he was joking but good luck trying to get a Cowboys fan to buy that. The bottom line is that Strahan played for the Giants and it’s never a good idea to poke fun at the Cowboys, joking or not.

Michael Strahan was a good player but no Cowboys fan wants to hear his foolish opinions about their team.
