Philadelphia Eagles’ Michael Vick Seems A Tad Bit Nervous
Didn’t I already talk about this dude? He will never get it. He just won’t. The guy sounds insecure as hell. Michael Vick is hoping that Chip Kelly names a starting quarterback before training camp starts. Most fans have read about this topic already, however, I am going to write about it anyway.
It bothers me that Vick just doesn’t get it. Does he think that his past few seasons warrant an automatic starting job? I sure as hell don’t. I get that he is probably tired of answering questions everyday about who will win the starting job of the Philadelphia Eagles. I would likely want to punch one of the media members too for their stupidity, asking the same question every single day.
Maybe he just had a bad day or maybe he really is scared of Nick Foles or Matt Barkley taking his job. We all know that Foles and Vick have been 50/50 with reps with the first unit. Vick mentioned previously about how he was worried about the tension of the quarterback situation and that it might come between his relationship with Foles.
There is no doubt about it that this dude is on edge. He sounds like a guy that thought he would be named the starter already. That is likely why he took the pay-cut and re-signed with the Eagles. From the beginning of the Chip Kelly era, Chip has always said that the starting quarterback position was an open race; even Dennis Dixon thinks he has a chance. I don’t know about you, but Vick seems a little worried to me.
