Yes, you did hear this correctly.
Now let the media circus ensue as everyone and their brother tries to figure out why the Pats signed him and how he will be used. Well let this writer be the first to say today, June 10, 2013, is the beginning of the official start to Tebow’s NFL Hall of Fame run.
Think about it for a few seconds.
Tebow is clearly still one of the most marketable faces and most polarizing players in the NFL. Bill Belichick, of course, will be the one that convinces him to move to tight end where he will have 3,000 yards receiving this season and will score 20 touchdowns. Or he will teach the young Jedi to harness the ways of the Force and turn him into a 5,000 yard passer when Tom Brady goes down with an injury suffered at the hands of Gisele Bundchen (cause you know Ed Hochuli and his merry men of the NFL Umpires Union won’t allow anyone within 10 feet of Brady).
You laugh now, but just wait. Robert Kraft is too savvy of a business man and has too great of a front office not to see something hidden behind the roughness that is Tebow’s image on the field. If they can move him to tight end, it immediately gives Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez someone with probably the best work ethic in the game in Tebow to challenge them every day. This could even be a move in relation to both Gronkowski’s and Hernandez’s health as both had surgery this offseason.
Just trust this guy when he says Tebow will have a major impact in the league this year and for years to come. It’s the Patriots; they have to know something. If not, let’s just chalk it up to the mothership trying to get their golden boy of teases and advertising dollars a little closer to Bristol.
But there is one singular fact that makes this argument and opinion valid. God has a purpose with everything He does. He has a purpose for you and us all. This is something Tebow believes with every ounce of his being and spirit. This guy does too, is on board the Tebow Revival, and can’t wait to see what happens this fall.
