Last week, all signs pointed to Ahmad Bradshaw joining the Indianapolis Colts for the 2013 season after the star running back has been looking for a new home following his release from the New York Giants. Now, it appears there may be another team on Bradshaw’s radar–the New England Patriots.

The Patriots have already made big news this week after making the decision to give Tim Tebow a shot and it looks like they may be interested in the possibility of adding Bradshaw if he fails to sign with the Colts. Despite his release from the Giants, there have been numerous teams expressing their interest in Bradshaw this offseason as he’s proven to be an effective running back as he’s capable of being just as much of a threat in the passing game as the ground game.

Obviously, Bradshaw would make a great addition in New England as they already contained one of the league’s best offenses last season and the addition of Bradshaw would make them that much better. The Patriots were already considered one of the top teams in the AFC heading into the 2013 season and even though the chances of this move may seem like a long shot at this point considering the Colts and Bradshaw already seem to be negotiating a deal so he’ll join the roster for the 2013 season–it will still be interesting to see whether or not the Patriots get a shot at the running back.
