Blasphemy: Tim Tebow Joins New England Patriots
Did the Patriots acquire someone of equal valor or greater when Welker chose treason instead of being a loyal Patriot? Nope, not at all. Who was Welker’s replacement? A nobody; someone that you just heard about as a result of Welker leaving: Danny Amendola.
While planning his uprising, Welker managed to poison the mind of fellow Patriot Danny Woodhead. Perhaps it was too cold in Foxborough? In any event, Woodhead decided to play for the San Diego Chargers. His parents should have named him Danny Blockhead.
Bad luck, or poor management? The last time I checked, anyone would want to suit up in a Patriots uniform. Why would these guys leave New England to go play for other teams? Not even Alex Trebek has the answer to that Daily Double. But if I was a gambling man, I’d have to blame management.
Now given the circumstances, you’d think the Patriots’ front office would employ damage control after all that has happened. Nope, not even close. These guys — in which can be considered an act of desperation and folly — decide to sign Tim Tebow!
This is a cardinal sin! Tebow?! Does Foxborough need this kind of publicity? Is not Tom Brady more than enough news coverage? When this guy went to the New York Jets, it was a media frenzy; it was a circus! More importantly, the Jets didn’t even make the playoffs! It was a D-U-M-B move and Rex Ryan regrets doing it; that’s why Tebow is no longer a Jet!
I’m just curious — what is Bill Belichick going to do with Tebow? Use him for prayer in the locker room? From what I understand, Robert Kraft is a spiritual man. Maybe they intend on going to church together? Maybe his prayers will win New England another title?
