Just when you thought Aaron Hernandez‘s week couldn’t get anymore dramatic–it appears the New England Patriots tight end is now getting sued for shooting a man in the face.
One day after he was questioned by police investigating a homicide after a body was found less than a mile from the tight end’s home, Hernandez is now facing a lawsuit from an incident that took place in February at a strip club in Miami. Alexander Bradley is expected to seek more than $100,000 in damages after claiming a gun pointed at him by Hernandez was discharged–causing him to lose his right eye and forcing him to undergo reconstructive surgery.
Obviously, this is the last thing Hernandez and the Patriots need to deal with in the offseason considering everything else they already have on their plate. On top of these two incidents involving Hernandez, New England is also concerned over the status of Rob Gronkowski–who underwent back surgery this week.
There’s a good chance Gronkowski will miss the start of the regular season and depending on how things play out with Hernandez–there’s no telling what to expect from a team that arguably had the league’s best pass-catching duo at tight end. There’s a good chance more details from this latest incident involving Hernandez will continue to come out, but based off what the last 24 hours have been like–things aren’t looking to bright for the star tight end as the beginning of training camp is right around the corner.
