New England Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez Arrested, Needs to Come Clean About What He Knows
It’s been an interesting offseason for the New England Patriots between the departure of Wes Welker and all of the surgeries surrounding Rob Gronkowski, but nobody could have predicted them to go through all the drama surrounding Aaron Hernandez. The tight end has unfortunately seen his name in the mix of a police investigation from the murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd and now–he’s officially been arrested as the investigation continues.
Hernandez was arrested early Wednesday as he was seen leaving the house in cuffs and with this latest twist–it’s difficult not to imagine what Hernandez knows about this whole case. While the details are still coming in as far as what type of charges he’ll be hit with, it’s clear the police have made some sort of strong connection to the case with the tight end–which shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone.
From the reports of him destroying his cell phone and home security system to the body showing up less than a mile from his house, the details of this story have been nothing but shady on Hernandez’s end and it will certainly be interesting to see what information comes out throughout the day. It may seem unfair to make any assumptions at this point, but with all of the details that have emerged over the last week, it’s clear Hernandez knows something about what happened with Lloyd and if he were smart–he would just come clean with whatever information he knows and stop making this investigation more difficult than it already is.
