Get Use To It Philadelphia Eagles Fans, We Are Going To Hear A Lot Of Donovan McNabb

Matthew Stafford Detroit Lions

This is a hard pill to swallow for Philadelphia Eagle fans. We have to get use to hearing Donovan McNabb talking again. I mean, A LOT… I feel like I can speak for most Eagles fans when I say this, “Son Of A Motherless Goat!” Yes, I just stole a quote from the greatest movie of all time, The Three Amigo’s. This dude just doesn’t stop talking since he was  hired by the NFL Network.

In case you missed it, McNabb has taken some shots at Robert Griffin III. They were about how he thought that RG III should be concentrating on football and the team more than doing commercials. McNabb was just looking for some love from RG III. I am trying to understand that it is his job now. He also seems to be obsessed with quarterback contract extensions. He has criticized Tony Romo’s contract extension. McNabb via twitter:

Tony Romo 6 yr 55 million dollar extension. Wow really, with one playoff win. You got to be kidding me

I am not going to lie, I find that one quite amusing. The latest target is Matthew Stafford’s contract extension. McNabb on Stafford via ProFootballTalk.com:

“It’s about wins and losses,” McNabb said. “Now, as a quarterback and as Matt Stafford, hey, I would take that contract just like Tony Romo took his contract. But is he worth top 5 money? I would have to say no. And I say that because it’s about wins and losses. What has he really done for the Detroit Lions? Nothing.”

Man, he really does have an issue with quarterback contracts. Listen, I always was a big NcNabb fan, but when it comes to him talking, its a whole other story. The guy usually would insert his foot into his mouth when he was speaking. Now, I will have to listen to him more. Lovely.
