The Buffalo Bills have a great deal of problems as they are the only team that has yet to make the playoffs in the 21st century. The Bills have been one of the teams that have struggled to find a franchise quarterback since their legendary quarterback Jim Kelly retired.
They have tried big names such as Drew Bledsoe, J.P. Losman, Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitzpatrick, not to mention several lesser known quarterbacks in between. There is some serious hope with first-round pick from this year’s draft in E.J. Manuel, unfortunately the jury will be out for a while as he recovers from an injury.
Another problem is the Bills let star left guard Andy Levitre go and sign a massive contract with the Tennessee Titans, and there is a huge question mark in who is going to replace him and help blow open holes for one of the best running back duos in C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson. Levitre was an underrated pass blocker as well.
The final big thing wrong for the Bills in 2013 is the questionable depth in the secondary as it’s Stephon Gilmore and a huge question mark in how the rest of the depth chart falls to start the season.
All in all, it should be interesting to see what the Bills do in this upcoming season. It seems like it’s either going to be an amazing 2013 or they are going to struggle mightily, however, it seems more like the former more than the latter.
