The best-case scenario for the Bengals in 2013 is this whole team becomes a well-oiled machine and runs rampant over the whole league, as they have a solid connection between A.J. Green and Andy Dalton, also they added tight end Tyler Eifert from this year’s draft, which will give them a nasty tight end combo when he’s paired with Jermaine Gresham.
Also, they drafted the best running back coming out this year in Giovani Bernard, and with all these weapons on offense, this team could be unstoppable. Their record could be an amazing 13-3 and win their first playoff game since 1990, and possibly make and win the Super Bowl.
With all the good, can also come the bad in which an injury to Green happens as he is the focal point of the offense as he looks like he’s an elite level wide receiver despite only going into his third year in the NFL. Without Green, Dalton would look lost and would have to rely on his tight ends to pick up the slack. While they can, however, they aren’t the game changers that Green is and a player like Mohamed Sanu would have to show why the Bengals invested a third-round pick in him. With this being the worst-case scenario, the Bengals would go 7-9 and pick right around the middle of the 2014 NFL Draft.
