Buffalo Bills Preseason Week 4: Detroit Lions’ Reggie Bush Is the Second Head Of Cerberus

Reggie Bush was brought into the Detroit Lions this offseason from the Miami Dolphins where he had the two best years of his career by far. He had nearly the same numbers as he did in five years with the New Orleans Saints. Bush is extremely dynamic as he can run for a touchdown from seemingly anywhere on the field, no matter if he’s running the ball, catching a pass in stride or even doing some returns if called upon. While people will question his durability, that is a non-issue as he only missed one game when he was down on South Beach.

It’s not expected for Bush to do much in Thursday’s game, but you never know as it is a new system he is learning compared to the one down in Miami. He should stay out for at least three series just to acclimate himself to the offense that much more.

This all being said, one of the biggest highlights for the Buffalo Bills last season was when Thursday Night Football was in Western New York, and the Bills’ defense shut Reggie down. He only had 20 yards rushing on 10 carries and two catches for 15 yards, not quite an awe inspiring game despite all the talk was before the game started.

All in all, it should be interesting and fun to see what the Lions do with Reggie Bush as he can be so versatile for his new team for the 2013 season.
