Earlier this week, I wrote that Percy Harvin may wind up sitting out the entire season for the Seattle Seahawks. Head coach Pete Carroll said that there is still no timetable for his newest wideout’s return, but that Harvin is “progressing well.”
Thursday, Harvin broke a two month-long silence on Twitter by letting us in on a possible return date. Harvin had not sent a tweet since July 30th when he told everyone how eager he was to start the season as a Seahawk, telling the ’12th man’ that he appreciates the love and prayers.
What’s goin 12th man just checkn in …I’m making serious progress …keep an eye on week 7…don’t hang them 11′s up…..we workn

Harvin is still recovering from hip surgery he underwent in August, and week seven is the earliest he could come back due to his being placed on Seattle’s physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Week seven may be a stretch, but as we have seen with modern day athletes and the technology that continues to develop, it is certainly not impossible.
Harvin’s presence would be greatly appreciated in Seattle’s offensive scheme, and arguably could make them one of the NFL’s top groups. With quarterback Russell Wilson and running back Marshawn Lynch leading the rushing attack, Harvin would give them a completely different dimension being able to line up anywhere and everywhere.
I will leave you with this most recent tweet by Harvin, who appears more motivated than ever to get back on the field.
I’m starving so bad to get on this field my ribs showing….there’s nothing worse then watching ur boys battle and u can do nothin.just wait

Just wait, Seattle fans. Just you wait.
