The rivalry of the New York Jets versus the New England Patriots has been going on since the beginning of time.

Okay, maybe I am embellishing a little, but it has been a while. If the Jets don’t know what to expect in Week 2 from the Patriots, I am here to tell them.

Tom Brady will come in to Week 2 and take his no-name wide receivers, running backs and tight ends and make them all look like All-Pro starters against the Jets’ defense, which he has done on numerous occasions. These players are not NFL household names or even well know among the Patriots fan base, to say the least.

The Jets’ pass rush last week got to Josh Freeman of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and they will have to do the same to lower Brady’s timing and accuracy. I look forward to seeing what type of defensive schemes Rex Ryan will come up with to ensure that his Jets get to 2-0 this early in the NFL season.

If they are successful at implementing their game plan and steal a game from their hated rival, then they will have a huge chance to win their division and compete in the playoffs.

What do you expect to see from the Patriots versus the Jets week 2 in Gillette Stadium? Let us know by leaving a comment below.
