Can Oakland Raiders’ Terrelle Pryor Continue His Success Against Jacksonville Jaguars?
Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor wowed some experts that are on the television networks by playing far better than anyone had anticipated on the road against the Indianapolis Colts. However, sometimes teams can be caught off-guard when there is little to no game film on a certain player. That being said, Pryor provides the Raiders with the best chance of winning all year long as he is at the helm as compared to Matt Flynn or Matt McGloin as they look awful on a good day for them.
Pryor is a big, super athletic quarterback standing in at 6-foot-5 and weighing in at 235 pounds who can take off and run on virtually any play. While he doesn’t have the most accurate arm in the league, it is getting better with every single repetition. While there aren’t many chances for the Raiders to tack on wins this year, this game with the Jacksonville Jaguars might be their best chance to put up a blow out victory on a team this season.
The Jaguars have instability at the quarterback position, their running back is looking old, their main wide receiver is suspended until Week 5 and that’s just their offense. Their defense will struggle to rush the quarterback, their middle linebacker seldom engages ball carriers and their secondary looks lost more times than not. Their best player might in fact be either their kicker or punter. It is extremely likely that this Jaguars team might copy the Detroit Lions of 2008 and go 0-16.
All and all, this could be a very positive day for Terrelle Pryor and the Oakland Raiders with the craziest bunch of fans anywhere in American sports in the black hole.
