Jacksonville Jaguars: Disappointing QB Play Leads to Tim Tebow Rally

The fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars have spoken. The quarterback play has been downright embarrassing and they will not tolerate it anymore. Nobody believes the Jaguars can win with Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne under center, which means the organization must bring in someone else. That someone else goes by the name of Tim Tebow.

“Jags-Tebow Why Not?” is a website dedicated to putting a Jaguars jersey on Tebow. The fans of this site feel that the team has absolutely nothing to lose by signing the quarterback, which is something I definitely agree with. For that reason, there will be a rally today at 3:16 p.m. ET that will last three hours and 16 minutes. Fans from all over can attend and show support for the city’s beloved quarterback.

Let’s face it, the Jaguars have no shot at winning any football games. I said before the season started that I feel they have a legitimate chance of going 0-16, and after witnessing the disgrace in Jacksonville during the first two weeks, I am confident in my statement.

I am truly baffled that the team’s owners have not already pulled the trigger on bringing Tebow in. I understand they are worried about the circus that may follow and the mockery that could take place if the former Denver Broncos quarterback does not pan out. With that being said, the Jaguars cannot go any lower. The offense does not respond to either quarterback, which means the team is completely lost.

The fact is Tebow is far more qualified than any signal caller on the current roster is. He is one of the most successful college quarterbacks of all-time. He led the Broncos to the playoffs in a year they were not supposed to go, and then he helped them defeat the defending AFC champions. He has the amazing ability to make everyone around him buy into winning, something that few quarterbacks possess.

The rally may sound silly to people outside of Jacksonville. However, the fans truly love the Jaguars and want to see their team succeed. In their opinion, there is no other way to win besides bringing a new quarterback on board. As of right now, Tebow is an option that will at least allow them to win a few games in 2013.
